They say that life changes in a heartbeat… For my family, that heartbeat was a diagnosis I never saw coming.
Late in 2025, my mother was fighting what the local GP diagnosed as a stubborn case of bronchitis. Within forty-eight hours, we were standing in a Cardiac ICU, hearing the words ‘heart failure’ and ‘20% function.’ In that cold, clinical room, surrounded by the beeps of monitors and the weight of an uncertain future, I felt the world shrinking.
It was in those corridors that I realised a profound truth: When you lose control of your circumstances, the only thing you have left is your perspective.
I began to introspect. I looked for the small ‘seeds‘ of light in the dark — the grace of a noble cardiologist who stepped in when things felt impossible, the kindness of the nursing staff, and the simple fact that my mother is still breathing. I turned to my faith, as a Muslim, and the timeless wisdom that tells us: ‘If you are grateful, I will surely give you more.’ Qur’an (Surah Ibrahim 14:7)
I built LuvSprout because I realised that ‘Soft Life’ isn’t just a trend; it’s a survival strategy. It is the practice of protecting your heart — physically and emotionally — by intentionally choosing to see the good.
Science tells us that gratitude rewires our brains and protects our cardiovascular systems. But my heart tells me it is much more than that. It is an anchor. It is what kept my family from drowning during the most difficult days of our lives.
LuvSprout is a tribute to my mother’s resilience and a gift to yours. It is a digital sanctuary where you can plant your own seeds of gratitude, whether you are celebrating a mountain-top moment or just trying to survive the valley.
We are not just building an app; we are building a more resilient world, one heart at a time. I invite you to join us, download the app, and start your own garden.
So, before you scroll away — tell me: What is one small thing you are truly grateful for today?“
